Walter Mckee

Walter Dean “Deanie” McKee, 79, of Bellville, died July 20, 2017, in Waller.

A graveside service will be held Monday, July 24, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Hempstead City Cemetery with James McGee officiating.

Mrs. McKee was born April 15, 1938, in San Angelo, TX, to Guy Franklin Baker and Stella Mozelle Higgins. On April 6, 1953, she was married to John Nual McKee. She was a retired employee of Brenham State School.

Survivors include her husband, John Nual McKee of Bellville; sons and daughters-in-law, John Wesley and Pam McKee of Bellville, Ricky Dale and Jean McKee of Conroe and Dennis Hilton and Denise McKee of Willis; daughters and son-in-law, Karen Darlene McKee of Bellville and Rhonda Sue and Leroy Koch of Waller; sister, Dorothy Leifeste of San Angelo; 16 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, two sisters, one grandson and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jason Herrera, Jacob McKee, Caleb McKee, Clint Koch, Justin Reid, Joseph Ortiz, Chance Herrera and Brody Cunningham.
