Walter Storrs

Walter Henry Storrs, 70, of Brenham, died April 7, 2005, in Trinity Medical Center in Brenham. Mr. Storrs was born Aug. 14, 1934, in Houston, Texas, to Walter DeLois and Anna Marie Hoelfels Storrs. On April 2, 1966, he was married to Ora Nell Finke in Galveston. Mr. Storrs was a salesman with R&R Wholesale. After retiring, he was active with SHAPe, delivering meals. He enjoyed spending all of his free time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Ora Nell Storrs of Brenham; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Darrell and Melinda Storrs of Cypress and Monte Dale Storrs of Humble; 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Lisa and Jeff Bohac of Brenham and Sherry Storrs of Humble; five grandchildren, Coty, Dustin and Shane Bohac and Laura and Audrey Storrs; one sister, Catherine Murdock of Houston; and numerous other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister. The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 11 in St. John Lutheran Church in Prairie Hill with Dr. Sue Beall officiating The family will receive visitors at Memorial Oaks Chapel from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, April 10. Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church in Prairie Hill.
