Wayne Brauner

Wayne E. Brauner, 57, of Brenham, passed away January 4, 2009 at his residence. Born August 25, 1951 to Edwin and Gladys Neumann Brauner, he graduated from Brenham High School, and was a welder by profession. Survivors include his mother, Gladys Brauner of Brenham; son, Justin Lacy Brauner of Humble; grandchildren, Payton Elizabeth and Jacob Wayne Brauner; aunts and uncles Lonnie Brauner of Killeen, Raymond Lorraine Neumann of Bryan, and Alvin Gernell Neumann of Brenham, Rosa Lee Kokemoor and Emma Bell Neumann of Brenham, as well as numerous cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services for Wayne E. Brauner will be held Thursday, January 8, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church of Zionsville with Pastor David Hansen officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation with family present will take place Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Memorials may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice.
