WILLIAM HENRY ENGLAND, JR.

William Henry England (Bill), age 93, went to be with the Lord on January 14, 2022.  Bill was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 23, 1928, the son of William and Grace England.  He attended school at Richmond Hill, Queens New York.  After serving in the Army during WWII, he attended the University of Denver on the GI Bill, graduating in 1953 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.  He married the love of his life, Marion, in 1960, and they eventually settled in San Antonio in 1974.  He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years in 2015.

Bill is survived by his children Susie Jacobs (Andy), Kathy Ransdell (Kent), John (Kelly), and Bill England III. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren (Eileen Patton, Emily Henneke, Bethany Jacobs, Bailey Jacobs, Kelsey England, Blake Ransdell, and Kaitlyn England and three great-grandchildren, Laura Henneke, Mackenzie Patton, and Layla Henneke. Bill is also survived by his sister, Shirley Derech.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 2:00 PM, at Grace Lutheran Church in Brenham, TX. Private interment to follow on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at 1:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Park in San Antonio, TX.
