William Horton

William Lee (Bill) Horton of Snook, TX, returned to his heavenly home on May 5, 2016 due to complications with a rare lung disease. He was 73.

Bill was born October 23, 1942 in Shamrock Texas to the parents of Roy & Tula Horton. He attended High School in Borger, TX and started his career as a truck driver in the Oil and Gas industry. Through the years he climb the ladder of success spending the majority of his adult life as a well-respected expert in the Gas Processing industry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy William and Tula Lee Horton, brothers Edward and Kenneth and sister Rose Mary Bowerman.
He is survived by his loving wife Elsa Horton, his three children and their mother, Shirley Horton of Brenham, son Roy and his Wife Patti of Brenham, daughter Starla Babin of Houston and son Stephen and wife Shannon of Cypress, brother Donald Horton and wife Betty of Lubbock, 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, numerous other family members and many, many friends.

Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held at First Baptist church of Somerville on Wednesday May 11th, at 1:30 pm.
