William Mcneill, Jr.

William Paul McNeill, Jr. known as “Uncle Paul”, passed away January 13, 2018 in Brenham.

The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, January 18, 2018, at the Lillian Wilder Chapel at Brenham State Supported Living Center in Brenham, TX. Graveside services are scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery in Meridian, MS.

Known as “Uncle Paul”, William is survived by his loving sister, Alice, and brother-in-law, Jerry; nephew Joe and wife, Lisa; niece Jennifer and husband, David; great-nieces Abby, Kate, Trinity, and Raylee, and great-nephew, Noah.

Paul is joyfully received in heaven by his devoted mother, Lorene McNeill, and proud father, William Paul McNeill, Sr.

Uncle Paul’s kind and gentle spirit, his love of holidays and presents, and his beloved habit of rubbing his hands together in excited anticipation will be greatly missed. He loved birds, astronomy, Southern gospel music, and Elvis, but more than anything, he loved Jesus and his family.

His family is grateful to his second family at Brenham State Supported Living Center for loving Paul and taking care of him for over 50 years. Together we mourn our loss of his presence, his love, and his laughter, but are comforted knowing he is now with his beloved Mama and Daddy in heaven.
