William Norman Ii

William (Bill) Norman II, 71, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019 in Brenham.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with Evan Cameron officiating.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Memorial Oaks Chapel before the funeral service.

William Norman was born in Oklahoma City on September 21, 1948 to Theda (Richard) and William Norman. He was baptized in the Methodist faith.

Bill was married to Catherine Flovin on February 6, 1971. He was a retired volunteer at the Brenham Fire Department for over 20 years. William was a member of Brenham Benevolent Protective Order of Elks for 17 years. He also bravely served in the U.S. Army from 1970-1973.

Bill was a volunteer at Forever Young and at Unity Theater. He was also a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Phillipsburg Church.

Survivors include his wife Cathy Norman; son and daughter-in-law, William III and Sheila Norman; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jackie and Charles Hawley; and grandchild, Gemma Rain Norman.

Memorials may be directed to Texas Elks Children’s Services.
