Wilma Sophie Emma Delion Kelm, 85, of Burton, TX, died Monday, April 19, 2004, in Bluebonnet Hills Care Center in Brenham. Mrs. Kelm was born June 6, 1918, in Industry, Austin County, TX, to Willie and Bertha Sonnenberg Delion. She was baptized Sept. 6, 1918, in the United Methodist Church in Industry by Pastor Wm. Sievers. She attended Industry School. On Dec. 27, 1951, she was married to Alvin W. Kelm in Zion Lutheran Church in Zionsville by Pastor R.J. Weber. Mrs. Kelm was a homemaker and loved crocheting and other needlecrafts, flowers, her pet cats and her grandsons. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Betty Ann and George R. Thiel of Industry; and 2 grandsons, George William Thiel and Geoffrey Ray Thiel, both of Industry; and special friends, Henry and Helen Locke of Burton. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alvin W. Kelm, on March 11, 1984; and one sister. The funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 23 in St. John s United Church of Christ in Burton with Rev. Glen Schoeneberg officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 22 in Memorial Oaks Chapel. Memorials may be given to the charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
