Yvonne Wilson

Yvonne Gayle Ritchie Wilson, 80, of Brenham, widow of Harold D. Wilson, passed away on December 23, 2010 at Kruse Village. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland, Tx. with Reverend Gary Groves officiating. Yvonne was born on September 25, 1930 to William Cecil and Berta Mae Harvey Ritchie in Wichita Falls, Texas. On July 24, 1972, Yvonne married Harold D. Wilson. Yvonne was a member of Memorial Christian Church where she served as a deacon and worked in the church food bank for many years. She was a loving wife and mother. Survivors include: son Rodney Michie of Kingsland, Tx, daughter Jan McCullough and husband John McCullough of Brenham, sister-in-law Sylvia Ritchie of Wichita Falls, Tx. grandchildren: Kelly Jimenz of Ft. Worth, Tx, James Jordon and David Jordan of Lubbock, Tx. great grandchildren: Devon, Alexis, Angie, CJ, Josh and Will. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold D. Wilson, brothers Eugene Ray Ritchie, Bobby Joe Ritchie and Billie Calvin Ritchie. Pallbearers include John McCullough, Rodney Michie, James Jordan, David Jordan, and Joseph Jimenz.
